This is a very interesting read. It’s the Inaugural Bank of Thailand Policy Forum – Dinner Speech, b y Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, in Bangkok, Thursday, July 12, 2012.
For me, there were lots of interesting insights here. I noted the downgrade of global growth and cautious optimism on Europe but candid recognition that there’s a long way to go. The majority of the speech was an attempt to harness the IMF to the Asian growth wagon.
