I am not saying that I don’t believe Francis Maude but it would be good to see detailed costings and risk assessments on the £0.2 billion cost savings. After all, Francis Maude is a great fan of more open and accountable Government.
It’s very convenient that this deal is announced a few days before Chancellor George Brown announces the UK Budget to Parliament on Tuesday.
