This morning Shaun Robison tweeted me a link to his latest blog, which I liked so much that I have re-blogged it below. Check it out!

Thoughts from an International Educator — creativity, action research, CPD, innovation, pedagogy, and the future of learning.

Shaun raises some important questions about education in my views.

Huffinton Post, the popular UK blog picks up the views of the TUC and major politicians on rising UK youth unemployment. Check it out!

UK Employment: Almost One Million Jobs Lost In Five Years, Claim TUC.

For me, here are some obvious questions:

  1. Why have the UK top companies, including major employers like Tesco, taken advantage of youth unemployment and not paid for work experience?
  2. Where is David Cameron‘s industry strategy? – Vince Cable seems to meddle across Government but fails to get his own house in order, in my view
  3. What’s to stop UK youth unemployment from reaching 50% plus, like in Spain?
  4. What is the Coalition Government strategy to promote growth in the UK – it seemed to have impaled itself on austerity
  5. Why doesn’t UK Government promote a strategy of service quality improvement to promote growth?
