Personally, I am not confident about the meddling policies of the Coalition Government and would be more concerned about the UK’s supply side to recover effectively. The Government seems to have missed opportunities for effective industry policies.

In my view the article highlights that David Cameron and Francis Maude are getting increasingly desperate because their austerity policies for dealing with the Public Sector have failed, reducing from line services and creating apathy. Sadly, the Coalition Government seemed to have shied away from serious reform and transformation.

Personally, I have operated as a consultant in the Public Sector and would suggest that one of the biggest constraints is politicians meddling.
