I tend to agree that the summit is unlikely to come up with a final, enduring solution.

My view is that this is very much an iterative process and will continue for a number of years before a way out emerges.

I too am concerned about the potential impact of extremism in response to austerity policies.

With a history of thirty-three U-turns, one can perhaps conclude that the Government:

  1. Lacks political conviction?
  2. Fails to do its homework?
  3. Is badly advised?
  4. Is primarily concerned with staying on in office?
