This article from Paul Krugman, the Nobel winning economist, in the New York Times, is well worth a read. Check it out!
Whilst I support Paul Krugman’s view on austerity alone being the wrong economic medicine, I think that perhaps he is being a bit too extreme in his conclusions. In my view, Europe will fix its economic problems but it will be an iterative process over many, many years.
