…………………………..The is a really interesting story reported in the Economist. Check it out!

Europe’s banking union: 172 German professors can’t be wrong | The Economist.

The story provides some insight into German Chancellor Angela Merkel‘s domestic challenge in steering German public opinion

Many leading economists, like Nobel winning Joe Stiglitz and  Paul Krugman, believe that it is time for bold Keynesian type decision to stimulate investment and growth, not further austerity.

For me, the 172 German professors are wrongly obsessed with the obscure and erroneous German view of the economic world, namely Ordoliberalism.

What do you think?
