This is an excellent article from Jonathan Friedman in the Guardian. Check it out!

The article analyses the “proud to be British” mood that has resulted from the London Olympics, especially the success of the Team GB athletes etc.

Sadly, reality will kick-in after everybody goes home. People will switch back from the Olympics to austerity, recession and a weak UK Government. For sure, David Cameron and Boris John will seek to gain political capital.

I fear that there will be a big post-Olympics hangover, especially for David Cameron.

What do you think?
