This is an excellent article from Spiegel picking up on the Economist’s lead article this week.

Germany Considers Holding EU Referendum – SPIEGEL ONLINE.

Personally, I was enormously impressed with the Economist article and I am now equally impressed with the Spiegel response. Both articles are advancing the debate and this will help lead to a conclusion, in my view.

The Guardian reports on a recent poll that UK Coalition Government is not expected to last until 2015. Check it out!

Whilst I can personally relate to these findings, it would have been much more interesting to look at the probabilities of failure by year, i.e. failure in:

  • 2012
  • 2013
  • 2014

How long do you expect the Coalition Government to last?
