The article implies that downside risk is likely to exceed upside opportunity. Personally, I am still an optimist as far as China is concerned – it is important to recognize that the state can and will intervene as they did in 2008, if required,

Compared to Europe and the US, China still has impressive growth, despite the collapse in demand from her key markets.
