Personally, I agree that the ECB is looking very ineffective when compared to the pioneering initiates of the Fed & the BoE. Also the Cyprus experience has shown that the ECB seems to have become a bit of a political lackey which is a disgrace.

I expressed my view in my last post (Mercantilism, Austerity Pshycosis, and the Need for a Stronger ECB). I guess from the title it us clear that I agree with you! The inflation paranoia is killing Europe and the austerity measures advocated by Germany are totally counterproductive!
