With austerity and the austerians so thoroughly discredited, why are political leaders like German Chancellor Angela Merkel still promoting austerity for most of Europe and modest export led growth for Germany?
Surely, there’s a case for translating the Paul Krugman article into German and debating it as a German election issue?
Do German voters seriously want Germany to be increasingly isolated?
