Pressure on the West to intervene in Syria seems to be mounting this weekend. Today the Telegraph speculates on Syrian WMD falling into the hands of terrorists.

President Obama is a fine orator but he must also take executive decisions and not be seen to procrastinate.

Last week, Nobel Prize winning, liberal, economist, Paul Krugman, in his New York Times blog, focused on “The 1%’s Solution“. Here is an example of UK Prime Minister, David Cameron and his privileged cronies, members of the “top 1% club” in the UK, being totally out of touch with the reality of ordinary people – the 99%.

By and large, the privileged and wealthy 1% believe in austerity for everybody else too. They are passionate austerians, like UK Chancellor, George Osborne.
