This is an amazing article published in the Brussels Journal. It is well worth a read. Check it out!
Secret Report Uncovers Massive Fraud at European Parliament | The Brussels Journal.
If the assertions in this report are true, it is disgraceful that they are being covered up.
Regular readers of this blog will be familiar with my political views; I am pro-European but anti-bureaucracy and anti-federalism. Sadly, this type of story will appeal to anti-Europeans like the UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) which this week was embroiled in racial demonstrations in Scotland.
Whilst millions and millions of people in Southern Europe are suffering from unnecessary austerity, we are led to believe from this story that MEPs are defrauding Europe’s tax payers on an unbelievable scale, circa USD 200 million.
For me, this provides further evidence that the European bureaucracy must be substantially dismantled and powers returned to national parliaments.
Are we to believe that with increased federalism in Europe as proposed by Germany that we would see reduced fraud?
What do you think?

The fraud was going on when Neil Kinnock sacked Ms Andreeson the accountant who blew the whistle on what was going on at the EC.
Neil Kinnock, his wife Glenys and their offspring and in laws are on £1 million gbp plus between them at the EC whilst engaging in non jobs.
In America $2.9 trillion USD disappeared from the Pentagon budget and in the UK, despite vast amounts of tax collected I can see no evidence of corresponding roadbuilding, new infrastructure on a scale to match.
This is not just down to incompetence but represents evidence of a systematic plundering of the taxpayer by a bunch of liars, criminals, shysters and Arthur Daley type figures.
The Daily Telegraph has once again turned over a stone and discovered that MPs are still flipping houses and inflating their expenses.
Two of the worst offenders were David Gauke at the Treasury, a man who likes to lecture the public about not paying builders in cash and Andrew Lansley, the former Health Secretary, who has tuned profiteering from house sales into an art form.
Our political class everywhere are “wetting their beaks ” on a grand scale,it is not just Europe.
John, many thanks for the clarification
