This is an excellent, MUST READ article by Luiz Felipe Lampreia, a former foreign minister of Brazil, published by Project Syndicate.

Many of the challenges highlighted by Luiz Lampreia are probably relevent to other developing countries, as well. As developed countries, like the US, UK and Germany place too much emphasis on short-term austerity, so the cracks show in the developing World.

Any thoughts?
