As I reflected on the implications of this article, I pondered the following open question:

Why are World leaders not addressing environmental issues effectively when there is already evidence of shorter lives yet alone future generations?

Any thoughts?

I welcome the UK Department for Health bringing this policy document into the open. As an expert in business planning, in both the Private and Public Sectors, this document really interested me.

Unfortunately, I found the document rather seriously disappointing:

  • No base line strategy audit, reflecting the current crisis state of the NHS
  • No evidence of consideration of alternative strategies
  • No risk analysis with mitigating strategies
  • No stakeholder analysis
  • No costings
  • No cost benefit analysis

This leads me to the following open question:

Given latest business plan, what’s probability of UK Government saving NHS from terminal meltdown?
