This is an amazing, MUST READ post from Nobel Prize winning, liberal, economist Paul Krugman, writing in his op-ed blog at the NYT. Check this out!

As well as Krugman’s blog, take a good look at the comments beneath it, for an insight into views on contemporary US politics.

I’m not a great fan of UK Chancellor George Osborne but he handled the transition to Mark Carney at the Bank of England professionally and decisively. Meanwhile, as I hinted yesterday, the transition of the top job at the Fed could well spook the markets, with a big sell-off.

Any thoughts?
