In case you missed it last week, I am reblogging this outstanding article published in the Guardian, written by Melissa Kite. It’s a MUST READ, in my view. Check it out!

We won’t need a PC World NHS if more of us go private | Melissa Kite | Comment is free | The Guardian.

The article has generated over six hundred replies to date, so it’s well worth giving them a scan too.

I congratulate Melissa Kite for a very thoughtful article which contributes seriously to the debate about the future of the NHS.

When will the political classes start to get real about the NHS?

Personally, I am of the opinion that the NHS must be replaced by a best practice UK  public healthcare service modeled on the best of Germany, France and Italy.

Any thoughts?
