Here’s another important twist of the fracking story, reported in the Telegraph.

Cameron has not made case for fracking, say grassroots activists – Telegraph.

Sadly, the story highlights the usual meddling politicians and bungling bureaucrats that have been evident in David Cameron’s Government over the last three years. Cameron has favored policy on the hoof and back-peddling rather than proper strategic analysis and consultation.

Fear, of course, is an effective motivator. The Government has pandered to gays and minorities, at the expense of traditional Tory voters.

Let me ask an open question:

Do you think that traditional Tory supporters will believe David Cameron‘s assurances on fracking?

Any thoughts?

  6. The activists are right to say that David Cameron has not made the case for fracking. He cannot do so because he and his Government, and previous ones, have said that our problem is Global Warming/Climate Change and that we must conserve energy and use less of it to stop the Polar ice caps melting, the seas rising and the country being delivered to the sea.

He knows, as does the Government, that this is not the case and that we are as a world getting cooler.
The Russian Academy of Sciences says so, as does the Chinese and Indian Governments, based on the advice of their scientists.

David Cameron knows this because the reports that land on his desk, say so and have said so for the past 8 years.

He knows that there will be blackouts, even with our abysmal rate of economic growth (“The weakest recovery for “100 years-source-Mark Carney-New Governor of The Bank of England), unless there are new nuclear power stations or something to fill the gap.

Cameron lacks the money for nuclear power stations and even if he had it it takes 15 to 20 years to build one and he has to go for re-election in 2015,less than 2 years from now.

The something to fill the gap is fracking. This is because Singlepoint Energy which could solve the energy crisis is a secret technology out of bounds to anyone other than the American, Russian and UK Governments and those who understand its significance. It was originally discovered by Nikola Tesla the Serbian scientist but locked away by the original JP Morgan who was his financial backer who famously told Tesla “If we can’t put a meter on it it isn’t going to see the light of day”.JP Morgan bought along with other still secret patents from Tesla for $1 million USD in the last century.

This leaves the UK and David Cameron with a dilemma and just 3 real choices:

    1) He can either let the lights go out and appease the NIMBIES in Balcombe.

    2) Or he can allow energy prices to rise and not frack which will make the country even more
uncompetitive than it already is and annoy Big Business and those who finance the Conservative Party.

    3) Or he can keep the lights on, lower energy prices and create the means for economic recovery and face down the NIMBIES whilst keeping very quiet on Climate Change and letting the BBC and Professors Beddington and Nurse push that agenda

Using very basic sequential thinking, and a process of elimination, it is quite clear he has gone for the 3rd choice because the other 2 represent even faster political suicide.
