Elderly care crisis claims a million family homes – Telegraph.
The article highlights a number of negative trends focusing on the growing number of elderly people who must sell their home to finance social care costs. It also picks up the thread that the next generation who are waiting for inheritances might be very disappointed.
Ultimately, there are two worrying concerns. Firstly, families are increasingly neglecting their elderly. Secondly, UK Government policy is ineffective.
