I must admit that the author Timothy Bancroft-Hinchey, a regular Pravda writer, has his very own style with words, especially in throwing red meat to the Russian masses. BUT  Bancroft-Hinchey’s description of the UK and David Cameron are based on evidence.

As a UK citizen, now living in Cyprus, I felt ashamed that a Russian newspaper could describe publicly these depths of Cameron’s Britain. Yesterday, I was at a history lecture on the British Empire which contributed so much to mankind.  Whilst the British Empire has long since gone, there is still the British Commonwealth but I question how long it will survive, with David Cameron as the UK’s Prime Minister?

Let me turn this to an open question:

Do you agree with the Pravda article and think that David Cameron has shamed the UK in the eyes of the World, especially the British Commonwealth?
