Finally UK Health Minister, Jeremy Hunt, gets tough with ineffective NHS bureaucrats. This is a MUST READ article in today’s Mail Online.

Blundering bosses will be barred from the NHS: Hunt plans to stop ‘merry-go-round’ that sees executives move from job to job despite disastrous performance | Mail Online.

Although I have not seen the detail of the proposal, I sense that Hunt has not gone far enough.

At the moment, ineffective bureaucrats at the NHS just play the game, keep quiet about the reality of the deepening crisis and they are looked after by their cronies.

NHS bureaucrats must be held fully accountable in the Law for their failings. In my view, pensions in the NHS should be linked to performance so that major non-achievers lose their pension rights.

Any thoughts?
