If you are interested in healthcare, take a look at the OECD’s database of statistics and definitions by major country. It’s WELL WORTH some time, in my view.

Health policies and data – Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.

Personally, my interest focused on the UK. The data highlights the huge increase in spending as a percentage of GDP, under the previous Labour Government.

I encourage you to look at the statistics and determine for yourself whether the Labour Government spending on healthcare was justified?

Also reflect on the austerity of the UK’s Coalition Government and the impact on output statistics?

Any thoughts?
