Burma: an essential guide – Telegraph.

Personally, looking at the Telegraph guide brought back vivid memories of our own visit to Burma last year. It’s now officially called Myanmar, by the way.

If you are interested in our own first hand insights to Burma open this link – you won’t be disappointed!

Burma is the hottest destination in Asia, right now. If you are tempted, I would strongly encourage you to visit Burma very soon before it is spoiled by mass-tourism. Don’t delay!

Any thoughts?

The wedge-shaped island in the middle of the bay is Uljanik, part of the shipyard. On the far top right the Brijuni islands (a National Park) can be seen. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

For me, the Rough Guides article brought back vivid memories of a delightful few days in Zagreb last year, on our seven week road journey from Bath, UK to Cyprus. See Taking the Slow Road to Cyprus.

In case you missed it the other day, I reblogged an excellent article on Croatia published by China Global Times.

Any thoughts?
