As I read this article, my mind switched to Europe, especially the UK and Southern Europe where excessive austerity has led to record levels of unemployment for millennials.
As we have seen from recent research from McKinsey there is major skills mismatch, and most unemployed millennials are unlikely to find proper jobs in the forseable future.
Surely, it’s about time that the European Commission diverted some serious money to promote self-employment for millennials and remove the roadblocks like bank finance?
