The BBC is the propaganda arm of Central Government and its Directors General and bloated structure is greedy, capricious, wasteful and useless, in mt view.
Gnarled presenters gum up the works and as we are discovering, sometimes lead debauched lives, preying on the vulnerable and the impressionable.
The BBC has more than 100 managers earning more than £100,000 gbp a year and is in daily abrogation of its Charter by advertising, hiving off 15% of licence fee payers money into internet television, nepotism, cronyism and sucking up to its favorite actors, writers, presenters, musicians, artistes, playwrights, impresarios, sportsmen, sportswomen, cartoonists, pundits, newspaper men.
Its reports are one-sided and its reporters often left wing proponents of biased comment, supposition, hearsay, gnosticism, secular humanism and New Age psychobabble.
Those they dislike they pillory and give a hard time to often using NLP to denigrate them along with contemptuous body language.
Shapes and symbols are used in the introduction to the news as well as drumming and the technique of slowly zooming the camera into the face of a presenter whose head remains motionless to convey greater authority and who varies his tone to guide viewers and listeners to decide what is and is not important rather than news-casting objectively and letting people make up their own minds.
Dr Alf is too gentle with his remedy, I would sack the entire board of Governors, the Director General and all their hench-persons, flatten the structure and make the entire organisation live on subscriptions.
The licence fee would be abolished, the left-wing bias would stop, the wallowing in the past would stop and 85% of the repeats would stop along with any reference to Global Warming, Climate Change.
The dumbing down would stop too, so there would be fewer cookery programs, mindless game shows with puny prizes, less football, fewer soap operas, fewer quiz shows and the pensioning off of Wogan, Dimbleby, Bruce Forsythe and others long past their sell by date.

Yes, ABC, Australian broadcasting is the same gimmicks as BBC, the use of music that excites the emotions, and sensational images of war in creating the tone of how the viewer is to indulge in the next bonanza of more excitement than the last, what ever the past was.
