Personally, I don’t agree with the Guardian but do recognize that there is still a huge problem with UK banks not functioning effectively. Also I do believe that austerity has been excessive in the UK.

Let me ask two open question:

  1. Should the Government put Wonga out of business as not in the national interest?
  2. Should pay-day loans be under the control of the European Commission?
