This is an excellent, must-read, article by the People’s Daily, China’s influential newspaper. Check it out!

Ahead of President Obama’s visit to China, the article looks at the results of a survey of American attitudes to China. Young people and the more well-educated tend to be most positive on China; whereas older people are more wary. I suspect that the greatest hostility to China will be from blue-collar workers‘ whose jobs have been off-shored. Also older conservatives will be wary.
