The think-tank, Council on Foreign Relations, raises some serious concerns in terms of both foreign and military policy.
As I read the article, my mind drifted to David Cameron‘s decimation of the UK’s military capability and Angela Merkel‘s hesitant foreign policy response and cautious military capability.
It strikes me that Europe is relying too much on economic sanctions, and has probably not fully risk-assessed the escalating game of ‘chicken’ with Russia.
