Greeks say they are the hardest-working European nation: Stereotypes of Europe | The Economist.

It is interesting to reflect on statistical evidence confirming that the Greeks are the hardest working in Europe but are probably the least efficient in terms of productivity and the country is the most politically corrupt. It is also timely to reflect how the proud Greeks will vote in their General Election in a few weeks, with so many Greek citizens now hardened against austerity.

Greece has been written off many times since the glory days of Ancient Greece but Greek citizens will need to reflect very carefully when they vote, this month.
