From where I sit, coffee like most things is beneficial if consumed in moderation and is a useful pick me up and compliment to a meal where no wine is consumed.

Drink too much of it and you will perforate your lungs, give yourself high blood pressure and worse.

As Dr Alf knows the narcloleptic and soporific state that many people seem to live their wretched lives in can be caused by too much alcohol, too much in the way of cough medicine, too many prescription drugs, too much sitting down and too much time spent alone with too little to do and too much time spent feeling sorry for themselves.

For RT this must have been a slow news day because it does not take a new opiate in coffee to deaden pain or induce a quasi coma, all one has to do is come with me to Letchworth, Hertfordshire or to London on the tube and then observe people clearly. All of life is there but one does not need to be a Voodoo practitioner to see that a lot of people without ever having been interred in a cemetery are already displaying zombie like behaviour all by themselves

Personally, I think that it’s time that the big banks in France and Germany take a write-down on their sovereign debt. Why should the banks be immune from austerity?

Thoughts?
