It is common knowledge that President Obama and Netanyahu cannot stand the sight of each other to the point of loathing.

For that reason, Netanyahu tries directly and indirectly through Congress to get his way through the Republicans who oppose most of what President Obama tries to do.

Congress and Netanyahu know that President Obama will be gone in November 2016 which is now just 22 months away, rendering that vain, patrician and ineffectual man a “lame duck”, marking time. In the time he has left, he can do a lot of damage if he is allowed to, and with regard to Iran his vacillating stance has been exploited by the Mullahs.

The young of Iran want more Westernization and change and this could have been exploited by Obama to wrong-foot the Mullahs and persuade them to go for peaceful energy solutions, rather than the present one which potentially has another use.

Isolating the Mullahs as roadblocks to meaningful progress, barriers to economic growth, sponsors of Hezbollah terrorists and as architects for meddling in other countries whilst neglecting the welfare of their young people would not be rocket science from where I sit, so surely in the land of “Mad Men” and latter day “Don Draper’s” this ought to be a walk in the park?
