Election 2015: summary of today’s campaigning | Politics | The Guardian

This is an excellent must read article from the Guardian. It’s a shame that it’s spoiled by the left-wing political bias of the editorial team.

The article picks up the important stories in the news but fails to put them in proper context. It’s shameless to play up David Cameron‘s memory lapse about his football club. By ridiculing the Prime Minister, David Cameron, the Guardian is inviting increasing negative campaigning.

Even the priority of the list of issues is distorted. It shows no resemblance to materiality or risk.

Ultimately, the final week of campaigning will be about dramatizing and building upon fears in voters minds. In this regard, the Independent has been able to hit the nail on the head. The central fear for all English voters will be of an SNP take over of power at Westminster.

Once again, the central message is:

Vote Tory to stop the SNP taking over power in Westminster!
