This is an excellent, must read article from the Guardian. Check it out!
Nicola Sturgeon is right that Ed Miliband has angered the Scottish people even more. Miliband will be on the defensive now as he desperately tries to avoid a 100% Labour wipe-out in Scotland.
Let me quote from the Guardian article:
Cameron pressed the issue on Saturday: “If you want to avoid a Labour government propped up by the SNP – which is not just a possible outcome, but frankly a very possible outcome because Labour can’t cross the line on their own – if you want to avoid that because, like me, you worry about having the government being held to ransom by a bunch of people that don’t want our country to succeed, indeed they don’t want our country to exist, then the answer is to vote Conservative,” he said.
Expect Tories and their supporters to echo the above message increasingly powerfully, as Thursday’s election emerges. Simply, the Conservative Party is a safe bet, whereas a Labour led government is looking very high risk for the UK.
Watch out for increasing division in the Labour camp, as they desperately try to launch damage limitation – they’re sticking their fingers in the dyke but Nicola Surgeon and the Scottish Nationalists will wear them down.
Of course, Miliband could back-track on his campaign promises and still cut a deal with the SNP, after the election. After a record of stabbing his own brother in the back to lead the Labour Party, would you trust Miliband to stick to his word on the SNP?
