Since the election, Scotland and the EU referendum have dominated the news but this article reminds us the size of the NHS reform challenge. Reforming the whole public sector is a massive risk. I would expect Oliver Letwin, now senior minister responsible for the Cabinet Office to turn to the regular cronies in the big consultancies.

Personally, I think that we need a public risk register, along with mitigating tactics – this is true open government. It’s only when the scale and likelihood of these risks are properly understood that the way forward will be clear.

Thoughts?
