This is a really important article from the Guardian, concerning the Tesco accounting scandal. It’s a must-read. Check it out!
As a retired Chartered Accountant, I worry about the accounting practices of other large quoted companies.
I sense that the UK’s Fraud Office does not have enough resources and fire power to be an effective deterrent.
As for Tesco, it’s not surprising that they’re having some difficulties.
