According to China Daily Mail which translates a Chinese source, the latest ballaistic missiles can dive from out of atmosphere perpendicular down to the flight deck of a US aircraft carrier and penetrate its armour. It’s claimed that it is utterly impossible to intercept the missile with existing technology.

Given the massive American defense budget, it is quite amazing that US carriers are now potentially as risk.
