According to this important story from the Japan Times, Japan has lost to China in bidding to build Indonesia‘s first high-speed railway. The article reports that it is seen as a heavy blow to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

I wonder if we are we beginning to see China’s industry eclipsing established leaders in Japan and the West? Perhaps GE should start worrying?
