According to this very powerful article by the UK‘s Guardian, on the eve of his first state visit to the UK, the Chinese president speaks in glowing terms about the prospect of closer ties between London and Beijing.

Given that America, under Obama, has subordinated the relationship with the UK, David Cameron and George Osborne have boldly decided to embrace China. Whilst there are undoubtedly risks for the UK, this is an adventureous and decisive move.
