According this important article by the Guardia, former British PM apologizes for ‘wrong’ intelligence and mistakes in planning of conflict and admits ‘elements of truth’ in claim war brought about rise of Isis.

The Guardian quotes a number of British politicians who are critical of Blair’s role. There seems to be increasing evidence that Blair is mounting a damage limitation campaign to deflect the impact of the much delayed Chilcot enquiry.

Did Blair exceed his authority as UK prime minister and if so, how should he be held to account for the catastrophic consequences?
