This is an outstanding and deeply worrying lead article from the Guardian. The paper highlights that David Cameron issues terms for continued EU membership as an influential report says ‘fretting’ over relations with Brussels ‘restricts what the UK can achieve’.

David Cameron’s core strategy has always been about austerity, driven by the political ambitions of his close friend, George Osborne. Osborne has emerged as de-facto deputy prime minister – this has weakened the UK – apart from taking his hand of the tiller at the Treasury, the Foreign Secretary role has been subordinated.

Watch as worry turns to panic and fear, as the UK goes into freefall ahead of the Brexit vote. Factor in the other contingencies in the wider world and this is a potentially dangerous time for the UK.

The Guardian is right!
