The trade-off between personal liberties and national defense and security will no doubt dominate the forthcoming elections. I sense that all the contenders will try to outdo each other. But after the election, political leaders will need to deliver.

Compared to Hollande’s hard-line, David Cameron‘s policies still seem too wishy washy?
