This is the type of article that puts Obama on a big white-horse. Almost every word is pro-Obama. There is no hint of there being alternative respectable political views, certainly not from foreign countries. The article assumes that all the environmental challenges are in China – there is no mention of the number of US vehicles on the road – nor mention of VW fixing the readings of its emmission devices.

This article is clearly written to appeal to a US domestic audience of liberals.

To provide balance let me share that internationally, many feel that Obama has made a mess of US foreign policy.
