The Guardian has an interest piece in which former speechwriter and chief strategist, Peter Hyman says a ‘project’ is needed to champion the party’s more centre-left, progressive policies.

Personally, I tend to agree with this argument. The center ground of the political spectrum seems to be a bit out of favor – hopefully it will return soon.
Thoughts?
Peter Hyman and Dr Alf are right, the Labour Party to be electable needs a Centre-left party to be formed which can then absorb the Tiny Tim irrelevance which is the Liberal Democrats under the diminutive Tim Farron.
Such a party, headed up by a wise and credible leader would be an opposition able to keep the Government on its toes.
Currently, all we have in Nicola Sturgeon’s Tartan Army who are not credible since the continued fall in the price of oil rendered Scotland’s economy incapable of standing without the continued assistance of the harassed English taxpayer.
The Corbynistas can then remain in a bubble of naval gazing Dave Spart lookalikes, condemned to permanently remain, out of power.
