The Telegraph reports in this alarming article that England and Wales show a five per cent increase in mortality rates in just one year.
According to the Independent, a senior doctor who was part of a study on links between staffing and deaths in the NHS has accused the Government of “continually misrepresenting” the findings to support its push to change junior contracts.
Irrespective of which opinion is closest to reality, the public are dying unnecessarily because of the NHS bureaucracy. Without radical reform, the other viable option is to scrap the NHS. It’s too late for more fudging of data & incremental reform.
