If you’re interested in European immigration, here is the latest official data published by the European Parliament – Think Tank.

This infographic aims to present the latest available data in terms of migrant flows. It covers the detection of illegal crossing along the EU’s external borders and the number of asylum applicants for 2015.

Personally, I tend to believe that European policy on immigration is still not addressing effectively the major challenges.

  1. The infographic tells us nothing because the detection rate of illegal migrants is manifestly low as evidenced by the thousands of people we in the UK have issued NI numbers to(693,000) as opposed to the official ONS immigration figures for 2015(265,000).
Dr. Alf is right to be concerned about Europe’s continuing inability to control immigrant numbers which are due in part to lax border controls and a mistaken belief that all Muslims can be integrated with host populations.
