The Telegraph reports that Paul Flynn, an unapologetic Labour rebel for decades, has returned to the party’s front bench after an absence of 27 years. He’s aged 81 and becomes the oldest MP to serve on the front bench since Gladstone.
These are remarkable times indeed. Surely, the UK has some slightly younger but very experienced politicians in this time of national need? Perhaps, Jeremy can only attract far-left supporters and rebels, now that the Labour Party has been hijacked?
