Personally, I sense that a proposed Brexit solution must have both the blessing of parliament and the people. With Labour in the wilderness, it’s hard to imagine the Prime Minister resisting the calling an early election.

How reliant is Britain on EU migrant workers? – The Conversation

This is an excellent must read article published by The Conversation. It argues that EU workers in the UK are highly employed and concentrated in a few key areas of the economy, posing problems if they are no longer welcome post-Brexit.

It looks like, both politically and economically, the UK is unable to stop the flow of  EU migrant workers. So if Brexit wasn’t about immigration was it really about national sovereignty? Or did the Brexiters just plain get it wrong?
