Here’s a good article from Rowena Mason, the Deputy Political Editor at the Guardian. She reports that International trade secretary, Liam Fox says business leaders have no appetite for the deals and exports needed to survive after the vote for Brexit

For me, this article is on the button. It portrays Britain’s business leaders as ‘fat and lazy’.

Liam Fox is looking for a new breed of British business leader who has cut his teeth trading in world markets.

Personally, I think that Theresa May‘s government needs to give massive fiscal support to initiatives that support increased foreign trade, especially outside the EU. Enormous focus is required on developing language skills and obtaining work experience overseas. Perhaps, there should be generous tax incentives for individuals who return from overseas work placement?

Surely Victorian history provides some role models?

This is an insightful article from Pravda, Russia’s leading newspaper. It suggests that it is hard to find at least one US presidential candidate, who would speak in favor of US-Russian cooperation. However, the thrust of the article is more supportive of Trump and Clinton is described as a ‘blood thirsty hawk’.

Of course, back in the US, many Americans are questioning Trump’s sympathies for Russia. This is significant. For a comparison, look at how Obama‘s personal bias has changed US foreign policy.
