This is a recommended read from National Geographic. They report that a new survey finds that even college-educated Americans have a lot to learn about the world around them. National Geographic offers some simple quizzes to see how much you know.

Personally, I scored 100%, so for me this is further evidence of poor education in the US. In recent international surveys of OECD countries, the US scored very badly on both literacy and numeracy.

It’s deeply disturbing that such an affluent country as the US scores so poorly on international comparisons. For me there’s too much bureaucracy and radical left-wing bias in the education system.
